Getting Started: Pairing Up Folders

A Folder Pair is defined so that a repetitive file sync or copy action could be applied between two designated folders whenever you wish.  In Bamboo, you can perform most operations in a variety of ways to achieve the same target.  Pairing up folders is no execption.  You can do one of the followings to create a Folder Pair:

File Menu

Select the "File" menu from the Main Menu.

Toolbar Button

You can click the "New Folder Pair..." button on the Toolbar when the main list view is switched to Folder Pair list view.

Windows Explorer Menu

In any Windows Explorer window, right-click any folder icon to show the Bamboo Explorer Menu.

Upon selecting any one of the above, the Folder Pair Wizard will pop up.

The Folder Pair Wizard will guide you through the necessary steps for syncing or copying files between the pair of folders.  For more details on the possible actions specified to the Folder Pair, please refer to Folder Pair in action: Sync, Backup, and Merge folder.
